Te Reo Māori - Annual Report 2023

During Māori Language Week, we started a brand-new online eight-week beginners programme for our research community. The response was overwhelming, with all available spaces being quickly snapped up. Due to popular demand, we'll be running another session in 2024.

Adding new kupu to our kete. We celebrated Te Wiki o te Reo Māori by sharing some kupu Māori related to the mahi we do:

Toitūtanga = Sustainability

Kaipūtaiao = Scientist

Kairangahau = Researcher

Hangarau = Technology

Hangarau mōkitokito = Nanotechnology

Hangarau rawa ōkiko = Materials Technology
