Hon. Ayesha Verrall, Minister for Research, Science, and Innovation visits VUW labs

As part of her visit to Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington, the Minister for Research, Science, and Innovation, Hon. Ayesha Verrall visited two MacDiarmid Institute labs.

Minister Verrall visited the labs of Co-Director and Principal Investigator Professor Justin Hodgkiss and Associate Investigator, Associate Professor Franck Natali. The lab visits showcased the Institute's work in deep-tech and clean-tech research. Professor Hodgkiss outlined his role as co-founder of our affiliated spin-out, Advemto Ltd, which specialises in ultrafast spectroscopy systems. Associate Professor Natali spoke about his new company, Liquium, also a MacDiarmid Institute affiliated spinout, which is developing & scaling a new way to make green ammonia.
