New Zealand-based, MacDiarmid Institute affiliated biotech company Orbis Diagnostics is on the brink of releasing a device that can test people's immunity to Covid-19 in just 15 minutes. The company -- a founder of which helped in the development of the well-known ClearBlue home pregnancy test -- ultimately hopes to see it in pharmacies, airports and workplaces around the world so that people can easily find out how protected they are against the virus. And as the national conversation turns in earnest to Covid booster shots, they believe it could help to determine who needs a third dose of the vaccine. Matthew Theunissen reports.
Emeritus Investigator, Professor David Williams, behind the device and scientific founder, spoke to RNZ about the devices origins and it's potential.
