Biography
Charles Unsworth is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Auckland.
Research interests
Associate Professor Charles Unsworth’s Neural Engineering Research Group in the Department of Engineering Science and the Centre of Brain Research specialises in neural chip platforms, advanced signal and image processing and computational neuroscience.
You do a lot of deconstruction, but from it you can reveal very powerful insights into the mechanisms and processes that make things behave in the way they do, in our case these are the fundamental workings of how networks of brain cells communicate.
