Dr Prasanth Gupta

Dr Prasanth Gupta completed his PhD with the Victoria University of Wellington and GNS Science in 2017. His doctoral work was focused on synthesis of novel transition metal-based nanoparticles in carbon matrices by ion beam engineering and studying their resultant structural and magnetic properties. During his PhD he worked part-time in GNS Science to develop isotopically pure silicon for quantum computing. He now works as a scientist at the Materials Team of GNS Science. He has worked on several MBIE-funded projects with applications targeting development of novel materials and innovative processes for sustainable low-carbon future.
