Dr Matthew Cowan and solar energy

Dr Matthew CowanMacDiarmid Institute alumnus and Associate Investigator Dr Matthew Cowan is a chemical engineer at the University of Canterbury.

His current research, which is in partnership with a chemical engineering group, is focused on using nanotechnology to make the most out of solar energy.

My whole passion is getting research to where people can use it. That’s the whole point.
