Joseph Nelson studied for his MSc in Physics at the University of Auckland, working on quantum optics theory in the group of Howard Carmichael. He then moved overseas to the UK, completing his PhD at the Cavendish Laboratory, University of Cambridge, working on computational crystal structure prediction.

Dr Roshan Khadka is a material scientist working at a Crown Research Institute in New Zealand, Plant and Food Research (PFR), A smart green future. He completed his master’s in advanced Material Engineering from Kongju National University, South Korea in 2015 and PhD from the School of Chemical Sciences, University of Auckland, New Zealand in 2019.
